An update from me, Steph – ASD Teacher

I have not posted much recently but now as I am coming to the end of a very successful school year with an amazing class of year 4 – 6 (age 9 – 11) children with autistic spectrum disorder and severe learning difficulties, I have a huge amount of resources and information I would like to write about. After having consistent ‘outstanding’ teaching observations, this has given me the extra motivation to show you all the work I have been doing and the strategies for learning, teaching and behaviour that have worked. More blog posts to come soon!

Thank you for visiting!

  1. Hi Steph,
Just wanted to say how thrilled I am to have come across this blog! I’m just about to start my NQT year teaching kids with ASD and was feeling a little overwhelmed by all the resources, information, different kinds of approaches, systems, etc. etc. and didn’t know how to narrow it all down into a more practical sense… and then I found your blog! Amazing, thank you for doing all this on top of a full time job like yours!

  2. Thank you very much! I am planning to add much more content over the coming months as I have a lot to write about and share! Please do ask any questions at any time and I will try and write a post to answer the question. Good luck with your NQT year!
